Ju-Lian was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Supreme Court in 1998. He spent the first ten years of his career at Allen & Gledhill and then Drew & Napier, advising on banking and business transactions for financial institutions and for local and international companies. He set up his own practice in 2009, which became Thomson Legal LLP. Alongside corporate and commercial work, he handles general civil litigation, including family matters such as divorces and adoptions.
